Priority registration

Registrations for returning members will open shortly. Notice will be provided on both our facebook page and TEAM-APP. Returning members will be given a two week window to register and pay before places are open to new members. There will be no exceptions or places ‘held’. As always, you must both register and pay to secure your place.

AGE GROUPS

The club strongly encourages all players to register in their correct age group as listed in the table to the right, which is based on calendar year NOT school year.

For female players, a girls league is also available in certain age groups. If this option is available in your age group you will be asked to choose either the girls league or mixed league during the registration process. 

We encourage girls to play at least one year in a mixed 8’s team prior to moving into the girls league, particularly if they have not played before. A new under 13’s and under 17’s Girls league is introduced this season and any girls 18 will play in Women’s league.

Any player who wishes to play in an age group outside of the table MUST clearly indicate WHY on the registration form. There is no guarantee that playing ‘up’ will be allowed and the final decision will be made by the club based on both the overall age group numbers and ability of the individual to play at a higher level. The best outcome for the club and the majority of players has priority over individual requests.

TEAM PLACEMENT

The club is responsible for ALL team placements. Please do not register if the registration is dependent on being placed in a preferred team or with friends as this is not guaranteed. Meeting new friends while enjoying the sport we love is part of our Club philosophy.

TRAINING DATES AND TIMES

Training dates and times are yet to be determined so we are unable to provide them at this time. As a guide, younger age groups generally train on a Thursday, girls on a Wednesday and older age groups on a Tuesday but this may change subject to the final number of teams, availability of the coach and ground space.

Coaches

All Coaches will need to register and enrol to be allocated as a coach as part of the registration process.

team kit

All team kit will be ordered closer to the season start after teams and training has been kicked off. The Team manager will advise details when team kit orders will be available to be placed.

Code of conduct and conditions of registration

By registering with NBSC you are agreeing that you/your child will abide by the code of conduct and our conditions of registration. These are available for you to read during the registration process. Whilst easy to skip through – we do ask that you read them, so you are familiar with your responsibilities.

communications

The club communicates via TEAM APP. Please make sure all parents are registered and have notifications on. Instructions are provided below.

refunds

The club is under NO obligation to grant refunds of fees. Requests for refunds must be made to the Club Secretary in writing (secretary@nbsc.org.au). Refunds will only be considered in very limited circumstances. Any refunds granted are subject to the deduction of all expenses incurred on behalf of the player including (but not limited to) Football West fees, FFA fees and uniform. A $50 administration fee will also be deducted. Please note refunds will NOT be considered where team selection has already taken place. This is due to the disruption caused to team allocation and the loss of opportunity for the club to fill places at a late stage.

NEXT STEPS AFTER REGISTRATION

Whilst we open registrations early in January, our season does not generally commence until late March/early April. Registration and grading take some time so don’t panic if you don’t hear from us again for a month or so. Rest assured we will contact you as soon as further information regarding grading or training dates and times is available. In the meantime please make sure you have joined the NBSC Team App as this is the most effective way of being informed of information as it comes to hand. Kit ordering instructions will be communicated via TEAM App once teams are finalised.

Download Team App from the App Store or Google Play.

Sign up to create an account (if you don’t already have one). Please use the parent/guardian name and phone/email address as notifications and emails will be sent to these.

Use the search icon in the top left hand corner to search for North Beach Soccer Club. A few options will display as individual teams also use this application but the correct one is one circled below with 600+ members.

You will then need to request (or make sure you already have) access to the group your child belongs to.

• Parents 8-12

• Parents & Players 13-18

Coaches and Managers will be added to the relevant group as they are confirmed.
