Next year, there will be new-ish faces in the North Beach technical area, with Michael Rea taking charge of the men’s Amateur First Team.
Alongside him will be Nick Di Carlo, stepping up from his role as Reserves assistant coach to help guide the Firsts in the coming season.

New senior men’s Vice President James Di Carlo is taking the reigns from Callum Parker and aims to build on the progress made over the past few years.
“I’m excited to see the direction the club is going both on and off the pitch,” he says.
“North Beach is in its strongest position in a long time with all credit due to the tireless effort and management of Steve and his family over the last three years, bringing the club back to its highest division.
“There is a real buzz among the players about the upcoming season, with Richo leading the lads into another very competitive division 1 league.”
Michael Rea is excited to start work ahead of the new season, taking over from Stephen Critchley.
“The club is absolutely flying thanks to the great work of the committee, Steve and the boys, and we’re in a prime position to have a crack at making it to the highest division in our history,” he says.
“If we keep growing as a team and getting incrementally better all season, the wins will take care of themselves.
“But most importantly, we’re a bunch of blokes that just want to keep enjoying our football.”
Alongside him, Nick Di Carlo shares Rea’s ambitions for the new season.
“I feel privileged to be a part of the coaching team again moving into 2022 and hope to use the experience I’ve gained working with Adam and our league winning reserves squad last season into helping Richo, and the lads take it to the next level in 2022,” he says.
