North Beach has continued their winning ways after taking home the Margaret River Tournament over the weekend.
Played over two days, the boys finished the first day’s group stage games with a result they wouldn’t disclose (allegedly a 2-1 loss), a 1-0 win and then a 3-0 win to finish.
The second day started with the final group game, in which Beach won 2-1, securing their place in the Quarter Final.
Finishing 0-0 after extra time, the QF went to penalties, with Beach winning 10-9 thanks to two saves from keeper Rob Edwards taking Beach to the Semis.

The SF saw goal machine Benny score two second-half goals to see Beach make it to the Grand Final with a 2-1 victory.
The final went into extra time 0-0, and it took a goal from Norwegian import Seb Brekke to get Beach the win.
Winning six from seven games over two days is an outstanding achievement, and bringing home a preseason trophy sets the club up for an exciting year.

The next games to be played are the Main Event Firsts versus Reserves for North Beach’s Open Day on March 20, and then a preseason friendly against Noranda on the 21st.
